Risk disclosure
Every trade carries risk. Here we set out in plain terms what can go wrong, so that you decide with full knowledge.

1. A general warning
A trading account is not savings, and money you cannot afford to lose should not be traded. Past results do not predict future ones, and the value of an instrument can fall as well as rise.
Before you open a position, make sure you understand how these products work: when trading them with leverage, a significant share of retail accounts lose money.
2. Margin and leverage
Gains and losses are both multiplied by leverage, so a small move against you can erase the margin holding a position open. At up to x200, a market move of half a percent the wrong way is enough to close a fully leveraged position.
Should the margin ratio drop below the platform level, positions can be closed automatically at the current price, and that price may be worse than the one you expected.
3. Risks specific to crypto
Crypto assets swing widely, trade at all hours and can gap hard when liquidity dries up. Ownership of some assets is concentrated, so their prices move faster and further than in traditional markets.
Countries regulate crypto assets differently, and that treatment can shift fast — sometimes affecting deposits, withdrawals or whether an instrument is offered at all.
4. Liquidity and market risk
Around news, at the market open and when conditions are thin, spreads get wider. A fast market can fill an order at a price that differs materially, and a stop order is no guarantee of the requested level.
Positions held through the daily rollover incur overnight financing, which builds up the longer a position is held.
5. Technology and operations
To trade online you need your device, your connection and other parties’ infrastructure, and if any link goes down an order may be held up or never placed. A loss caused by a failure outside our systems is not something we can be responsible for.
Keep multi-factor authentication on and your credentials to yourself. Any order placed from your account using your credentials is treated as your own.
6. This is not investment advice
Nothing in the platform or on this site is legal, tax or investment advice, nor a recommendation to trade any given instrument. Market commentary and analysis are general information that does not consider your circumstances.
